Balayage

Balayage has been around for quite a while, but this timeless technique is now one of the most popular hair color requests in salons today. Pronounced “bah-lee-AHZGE” (from the French verb balayer, meaning “to sweep”), this freehand highlighting technique consists of applying color in sweeping motions, without the use of foil, in order to achieve natural sun-kissed highlights.
